In 2007, thousands of dogs and cats in the U.S. died due to contaminated pet food ingredients sourced from China. In just the past year and a half, the FDA has received reports on the death of more than 300 pets linked to Chinese imported jerky treats.

You’d think that pet food manufacturers would be avoiding ingredients sourced from China – but that’s not true. Actually, dog food and cat food (and pet food ingredients) imports from China have increased by more than30 million pounds in just five years! (Source: Food And Water Watch)
